Timelines: When to order

12-18 months

SAVE THE DATES

Ensure your loved ones mark their calendars in advance, especially if it’s on a public holiday, a destination wedding or during holiday season. If accommodation is likely to be booked out, or flights need to be booked, keep this in mind!

5-6 months

INVITATIONS

To hand your invitations out 4 months before the wedding or prior, you will want to get your order in at least a month before sending, as we will need time for artwork approval and print production time. Specialty print methods like letterpress add time.

2-3 months

ON-THE-DAY ITEMS & SIGNAGE

We know the seating plan can be an ever-moving-beast! But let’s get your creative concepts underway a few months prior to your event. We can lock in the designs for your suite first, and make final tweaks last, before sending to production. Your stationery will need to be ordered at least 4 weeks out.

The Ordering Process

  • 1. Book

Send an enquiry through, and we will work together to create your vision. Provide your event details like dates, names, wording, colours, shapes, theme and inspiration.

I’ll provide a few print options and quotes, then once you’ve decided and secured your spot with a 50% deposit, I’ll design your first draft and email you a proof to review.

  • 2. Artwork approval

Review your design proof carefully, from layout to details, and let me know if you have any changes. I’m positive you’ll love it first time around, but rest assured, you can ask for as many changes as you like! Each round of revisions adds 2 days.

Once you’ve sent your approval I’ll make the file/s print ready and process the order.

  • 3. Production

Once your order is sent to print, there’s no going back! Our print partners often get started on your order right away, so let’s get it right.

Production times can vary depending on your order. Digital printing typically takes 1 week. Please allow extra time for letterpress, embossing and foil (2-3 weeks).

  • 4. Shipping

I’ll give your order a quality check, then pack and send it to you. Shipping can take up to 2 weeks. We only use reliable posties that won’t damage your order. If you need a rush order, let me know in before ordering.

Once you’ve received your invitations and sent them to your friends and family, it’s time to start prepping your on-the-day items!

Card Shapes

We can create your wedding stationery in a range of fun, unique shapes. Below are the most popular shapes and combinations, but we can also create custom shapes in almost any shape or size you would like.

Shapes other than rectangle add 1 extra business day to the production time on top of any other extra finishes you’ve picked, so keep this in mind.

Shape combinations

If you order multiple cards, i.e an Invitation, a Details card and an RSVP card, we can mix and match colours and shapes for a truly bespoke look.

Add your names or a personalised message to the front card, or a belly band to hold it all together.

We offer paper clips in gold, black, silver or rose gold, and ribbon of any colour.

Finishes / Print Methods

  • Colour print

    Production time:
3 business days from approval + shipping

A digital method that allows high-quality print in full colour, black or white. This is the best option for personalisation of guest names, quicker turnaround times and is the most economical option.

  • Letterpress

    Production time:
10 business days from approval + shipping

Letterpress is a traditional print method where a plate that contains your design is stamped into the paper, transferring the design in the form of a deep impression. This can be done with or without ink. This luxurious print method requires a metal plate to be made so takes a little longer.

  • Foiling

    Production time:
10 business days from approval + shipping

In a similar process to letterpressing, your design is transferred to the paper with a stamp of hot foil that will sparkle in the light. This luxurious print method requires a metal plate to be made so takes a little longer. Personalisation of guest names isn’t available in foiling or letterpress.

And just like that, you’re ready to begin

Don’t worry if you haven’t figured out all of the details, I’m here to help. Send across what you already have organised - your venue, stylist, flowers or bridesmaids colours, and together we’ll design something uniquely you. If your wedding date is creeping up, send through an enquiry so I can pop you in the schedule, and we can finesse the rest over email. xx
